Your Team is in Good Hands

See how rhythm creates connection, boosts morale, and leaves a lasting impression.

Hi, I’m Jordan.

I’ve spent my career exploring one question: What helps people connect, contribute, and do their best work together?

That question has taken me through psychology, music, business leadership, education, and nearly two decades of leading groups in clinical, educational, and professional settings. At first glance, those chapters might seem unrelated. To me, they’ve always been connected.

Today, Beatwell brings those experiences together to help organizations become more connected, more capable, and more in-rhythm.

The Beatwell Story

Beatwell began in 2009 during my master’s program in Clinical Psychology, when I was asked to research a stress-reduction approach. I’d spent my life experiencing the power of rhythm. I knew music could change how people felt. I knew communities around the world had used drumming for healing and connection for thousands of years.

What I wanted to know was whether science supported what I’d experienced. It did. Discovering the evidence behind group drumming changed the direction of my career. I traveled the country to study with leaders in the field and dedicated my graduate education to exploring the intersection of psychology, rhythm, and human connection.

Beginning with my first clinical internship, rhythm became a primary therapeutic modality in my work. Over the next decade, I facilitated more than 1,000 groups in schools, medical settings, universities, workplaces, conferences, and private practice. No matter the setting, I kept noticing the same thing. People rarely changed because someone gave them better advice. They changed because they shared an experience that helped them feel more connected—to themselves, to one another, and to what mattered most.

Why I Work with Professional Communities

For years, I loved bringing Beatwell into businesses. But I also knew there was a perspective I didn’t yet have. I’d never worked inside one. That changed in 2017 when I joined Ring of Honor Wrestling as Brand and Communications leader within a Fortune 500 media company.

For the first time, I experienced organizational life from the inside: leading teams, collaborating across departments, producing live events and television, navigating competing priorities, and contributing to a culture that affected people every day.
The work was a dream come true. It also strengthened my conviction that organizations perform at their best when people feel connected, valued, and trusted. That’s why this work has evolved. Today, my favorite audiences are professional communities. Because this is where I believe I can make the greatest impact.

What I Believe

I believe we’ve accepted a lot of unnecessary boredom as the price of being professional.

I don’t buy that.

I believe meaningful work and playfulness belong together.

I believe people do their best work when they feel more connected—to themselves, to one another, and to a shared purpose.

I believe the drum is just a tool.

And I’ve found rhythmic music-making to be one of the fastest and most effective ways of helping people connect.

Most of all, I believe investing in the humanity of your people isn’t separate from organizational success; it’s foundational to it.

Experience & Credentials

My work brings together psychology, music, business leadership, and nearly two decades of facilitating group experiences. While those paths may seem unrelated, they’ve all led to the same place: helping people connect, communicate, and create together.

Mental Health

As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), I’ve spent more than a decade integrating rhythmic music-making into clinical practice. I’ve facilitated individual and group psychotherapy, trained clinicians, presented at professional conferences, and consulted with healthcare organizations. Since 2009, I’ve led more than 1,000 group experiences designed to strengthen connection, emotional well-being, communication, and resilience.

Business Leadership

In 2017, I joined Ring of Honor Wrestling as Brand and Communications leader within a Fortune 500 media company. Working across departments, I managed teams, collaborated with executives, and helped shape the fan experience through live events, television, digital media, and marketing. One career highlight was helping to produce and lead communications for Ring of Honor’s sold-out Madison Square Garden event—an experience that reinforced my belief that culture is built one interaction at a time.

Music & Performance

I’ve been a performing musician, teaching artist, and facilitator for more than 20 years. I’ve toured nationally, released music through record labels, and shared stages with artists including Jack Antonoff, Future Islands, and The All-American Rejects. Music taught me that great groups depend as much on listening as they do on leading—a lesson I bring into every Beatwell experience.

Speaking & Community

Whether facilitating a workshop, delivering a keynote, or hosting a podcast, my work has always centered on building community. My podcasts have reached listeners in more than 160 countries and helped introduce thousands of people to conversations about mindfulness, creativity, work, and well-being by meeting people where they already were.. It’s the same philosophy I bring into every Beatwell workshop: meaningful change begins with meaningful connection.

Let’s Create Something Meaningful.

Every organization has its own culture, challenges, and strengths. That’s why every Beatwell experience is thoughtfully designed around the people in the room and the outcomes that matter most.

If you think Beatwell could be a good fit for your team, conference, or leadership retreat, I’d love to learn more about your people and explore what we can create together.
